Shah Rukh Khan says Jawan has ‘international class’ action; hopes Hindi audience appreciates ‘wonderful’ Nayanthara

On Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan surprised all with an AskSRK session on Twitter where he took questions around Jawan and then floored his fans with his hilarious responses.

It’s just four days before Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated Jawan hits cinema halls. As fans await to see the Atlee-directed action drama, the superstar left them overjoyed with an ‘AskSRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter). On Sunday, King Khan posted, “4 Din aur phir aapse aamne saamne mulaqat hogi! Till then 4 baatein ho jayein. About #Jawan and all things life….let’s do #AskSRK for a bit…The Sunday Session.”

Soon, his timeline was filled with questions and messages from fans. While he did take some questions on Jawan, SRK, like always left fans ROFLing with his witty responses. Going all philosophical, Shah Rukh Khan also shared the moral of Jawan, as he advocated women’s empowerment.

He wrote, “The movie reflects upon how we as people can make a change that we want around us. Empower women and fight for the right. #Jawan.” He also called the film a ‘mix of mass and international class in terms of action’ and shared that it has some really ‘cool background music’.

As a fan asked him about his experience of working with south star Nayanthara, he wrote, “She is so beautiful and such a wonderful actor. Has added immensely to her role. Hope her fans in Tamil Nadu fall in love with her all over again and Hindi audience appreciates her hard work.” Nayanthara, as readers would know, is making her Bollywood debut with the film.

Shah Rukh Khan also floored his fans with some hilarious replies. As a fan shared a photo of him being bald with another friend, who had hair, asking about his look, SRK replied to him, “Wow!! Doosre wale ka kya?? Uska bhi karwao na!” Referring to his dialogue, when a fan asked what would he call if he watched Jawan seven times, the superstar wrote, “Ha ha pata nahi Punya hai ya Paap….but tum ban jaoge audience ke Baap!!” Another one said that they would watch his film the same number of times as his roles in the movie. “Pehle bolta chaar paanch role aur badha set!! Ha ha. Enjoy,” SRK replied.

Gadar 2 director excited about Jawan

In a recent interview, Anil Sharma shared his thoughts on SRK’s highly anticipated film Jawan and discussed the possibility of working with the megastar in the future.

When asked about his reaction to the Jawan trailer, Anil Sharma revealed his admiration, particularly for SRK’s bald look in the clip. He told Pinkvilla in Hindi, “I really liked Jawan’s trailer. I am already a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. I really liked his bald look in the trailer, I really enjoyed that. Mein toh uske liye pehle din picture dekhne jauga (I will watch the film on the first day for Shah Rukh just for that).”

Also starring Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra and Priyamani among others, Jawan will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 7.
