After years of hosting celebrities on Koffee With Karan, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar switched seats and appeared as a guest on Prime Video’s new chat show Too Much, hosted by his close friends Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. He was joined by Janhvi Kapoor for an episode that was equal parts hilarious and heartfelt. The fun kicked off when Janhvi challenged Karan to reveal one scandalous truth and make up one lie for them to guess.

With a cheeky grin, Karan said, “I lost my virginity when I was 26 years old, and I have been intimately involved with a member of your family.” As Janhvi’s eyes widened and the hosts burst into laughter, Karan clarified, “I was late to that party, yes, but the latter is a lie. I have not been intimate with any member of your family—though the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times.”

Later, Kajol and Twinkle pushed Karan to rank Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and the Pahariya brothers—Shikhar and Veer—on sex appeal. Janhvi jumped in with a playful compliment, saying, “Can I just say that Shikhar looks great riding a horse. I remember when Shikhar was playing polo and Ranveer was standing with me and he was like, ‘He looks great on a horse’. And I was like yeah.”

Karan, never one to miss a punchline, quipped, “I am trying to unsee Shikhar on this horse and rank them in order: Akshay, Ajay, and then the brothers. They have grown up in front of me—they are my neighbours, they live just below my apartment.”

The episode also took a poignant turn when Karan opened up about his personal heartbreak and how it inspired a line in his 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He recited the emotional verse: “Jab pyaar mein pyaar na ho, jab dard mein yaar na ho, Jab aansu mein muskaan na ho, jab lafzon mein zubaan na ho, Jab saansein bas yuhi chalein, jab har din mein raat dhale, Jab intezaar sirf waqt ka ho, jab yaad uss kambakht ki ho… Kyun main rahi jab woh hai kisi aur ki manzil? Dhadkano ne saath chhod diya – Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”
