Dostana 2 actor Lakshya, whose real name is Laksh Lalwani, does not belong to a powerful film family. He has made a name for himself on the small screen after making his debut as a contestant on the reality show Roadies X2.
Recently, Karan hosted a bash for a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, and directors Zoya Akhtar and Ayan Mukerji and he shared a clip from the party on Instagram.

After the successful anthology Lust Stories, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibaker Banerjee join hands once again for Ghost Stories. The series goes on the floor in August. It will be exclusively available on Netflix.

Mumbai, Feb 11 (ANI): It seems like Anurag Kashyap’s box-office dud ‘Bombay Velvet’ is going to haunt film-maker Karan Johar all his life. Karan, who made his Bollywood acting debut with ‘Bombay Velvet’, said at the trailer launch of ‘Kapoor & Sons’ in Mumbai that ‘Bombay Velvet’ was a disastrous debut. ‘Kapoor & Sons’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhat, has been made under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 18.
Mumbai, Jan 22 (ANI): Bollywood actor Raza Murad on Friday backed Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's ‘intolerance’ remark. He said there is certainly some depth in Karan’s statement. He added that if Karan Johar or any other citizen has some fear in his heart then it should be introspected. He further said that Karan is a liberal film maker and has no political inclination.
Jaipur, Jan 22 (ANI): Speaking at the Jaipur Literature Fest, filmmaker Karan Johar on Friday said he is living in a country where freedom of speech and democratic sentiments were only a "joke". He added that as a film maker, he feels bounded at all levels for whatever he puts on the celluloid. He further said that it was tough to voice out real concerns as a movie maker without fearing legal obligations.
