Mumbai, Feb 11 (ANI): It seems like Anurag Kashyap’s box-office dud ‘Bombay Velvet’ is going to haunt film-maker Karan Johar all his life. Karan, who made his Bollywood acting debut with ‘Bombay Velvet’, said at the trailer launch of ‘Kapoor & Sons’ in Mumbai that ‘Bombay Velvet’ was a disastrous debut. ‘Kapoor & Sons’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhat, has been made under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 18.

Jaipur, Jan 22 (ANI): Speaking at the Jaipur Literature Fest, filmmaker Karan Johar on Friday said he is living in a country where freedom of speech and democratic sentiments were only a "joke". He added that as a film maker, he feels bounded at all levels for whatever he puts on the celluloid. He further said that it was tough to voice out real concerns as a movie maker without fearing legal obligations.
