Jamia Millia Islamia today began the entrance tests for admission to various programmes for the academic session 2023-24.
Entrance exams for MA Media Governance, MA West Asia Studies, MSc Chemistry, MSc Biophysics, PG Diploma in Acting, PG Diploma in Still Photography and Diploma in Engineering were conducted today. Nearly 3000 applicants appeared for the exam.
Jamia will conduct a total 20 programmes under CUET— 15 undergraduate programmes and five postgraduate programmes. Admissions for all the remaining programmes will be conducted by the institute.
The undergraduate courses for which admissions will be done under CUET are BA (Hons) Turkish Language and Literature, BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies, BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies, BA (Hons) Korean Language, BA (Hons) History, BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) Urdu, BA (Hons) Persian, BA( Hons) Economics BSc Biotechnology, BVoc (Solar Energy), BSc (Hons) Physics, BSc (Hons) Chemistry and BSc (Hons) Applied Mathematics.
