There will be no cut-off this year, but DU will prepare a merit list based on CUET scores of candidates who have applied to the university. Unlike last year, when colleges used to decide their respective cut-off lists, this time DU will prepare the merit list and allot programmes colleges to candidates accordingly.
Each participating university will have its own merit list based on the applications they have received. The merit lists will be released at the announcement of results by NTA. Students, who had earlier indicated their preference of universities at the time of registering for CUET UG, will then have to check the respective university merit lists to check if they are eligible for admission.
Unlike JEE and NEET, admission based on CUET score is not being done centrally. Instead, colleges/universities will conduct counselling on their own and allot candidates colleges according to their CUET result.
There is no fail or passing mark. NTA will release the CUET scorecard along with the candidate’s percentile. The candidates will get admission into colleges/universities based on the merit lists of colleges/universities
The National Testing Agency will not release a merit list of students who appeared for CUET UG. NTA will only release scorecards. Universities will be releasing merit lists based on the result and applications they have received.
