Lokesh all praise for Gomti course

Talented Indian rower Lokesh Kumar who won silver medals in the lightweight men’s four and men’s eight rowing events at the Asian Games 2010 is all praise for the Gomti track (course) at Lucknow.

Talented Indian rower Lokesh Kumar who won silver medals in the lightweight men’s four and men’s eight rowing events at the Asian Games 2010 is all praise for the Gomti track (course) at Lucknow. He was in Lucknow in connection with some work with the Sports Directorate,here. Talking to mediapersons Lokesh said that the Gomti track at Lucknow is perfect for the sport of rowing and regular training here can produce good rowers for the country. Lokesh said that the results of the Asian Games will definitely give a boost to the sport of rowing in the country. He said despite the absence of new boats due to technical reasons during the Asian Games,the Indians did well because of a keen sense of determination and their hard work during the past many years.
