A Host of classic cars took to the road this Thursday morning in an event organized by Relio Quick in association with Vintage & Classic Car Club Chandigarh,as a curtain raiser to welcome the Relio Quick Auto Mall 2010 in Chandigarh. The event was organized to make the city get a view of a bygone era and to honour and applaud the proud owners of these unique wheeled beauties! The rally was flagged off from the Lake Club by singer-actor Gurdas Mann and made its way through prominent locations of Panchkula,Chandigarh and Mohali. The rally culminated at Parade Ground,Sector 17. Speaking on the occasion,Gurdas Mann compared the beauty of Sherry Bhurjees 1936-model Dodge car with a beautiful lady. Also present was Sandeep Kapoor,managing director,Relio Quick India Pvt. Ltd who said,The objective of this rally is to honour and applaud the endeavour of the proud owners who have painstakingly maintained these old beauties to keep the nostalgia alive. We also wanted to provide automobile enthusiasts an opportunity to catch a glimpse of vintage cars. Many of these classic beauties will be on special display at the Auto Mall 2010.
