Thymol price declines on reduced offtake

In limited deals,thymol prices fell by Rs 20 per kg in the national capital.

In limited deals,thymol prices fell by Rs 20 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming industries amid adequate stocks.

Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the thymol prices.

Thymol prices fell by Rs 20 to conclude at Rs 1,100 per kg.

Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down thymol prices in the wholesale chemical market here.
