Relief material, which is being airlifted from New Delhi and Chennai, is being sent to Fiji's capital Suva. The relief material includes basic food supplies, medicines, tents and kitchen sets. The relief material is being sent in consultation with Officiating Ambassador of India in the Fiji capital Suva. The island nation of Fiji was hit by category five Cyclone Winston, with wind speed 325 km/hr and waves up to 12m high. The cyclone has caused widespread damage to the housing stock and power disruption in the island nation.

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Water woes continued to haunt residents of New Delhi even after supply in many areas was restored a day after Jat protestors damaged a key water source of the national capital. Expressing disappointment, slum dweller Raju said people are facing water crisis as there is no fixed time of arrival of water tankers. Another slum dweller Rukma Devi said they sit on roads all day with utensils but there is no supply of water, adding that there is dearth of drinking water.

New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): The Urs of Nizamuddin Auliya, also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin , at 'Nizammudin Dargah' is one of the biggest religious fairs observed in New Delhi. It was the 712th Urs of Sufi Saint attended by thousands of devotees who come from different parts of the country to pay their respects to the noble soul, and seek his blessings. Hazrat Nizamuddin was a revered Sufi Saint who believed in drawing close to God through renunciation of the world and service to humanity. For him his love of God implied love for humanity and vision of the world was marked by a highly evolved sense of secularity and kindness. People offered silent prayers in memory of the Saint and paid obeisance to him. Later, religious Qawalli in the memory of the Saint was also offered to mark the occasion Qawwali is a form of Sufi devotional music which is performed mainly at Sufi Shrines or Dargah's throughout South Asia. It is one of the musical traditions that stretch back for more than 700 years.
