The second Test match between India and the West Indies ended in a draw as Roston Chase hit his maiden Test hundred to lead the host fightback  Wednesday. Chase scored an unbeaten 137 off 269 balls while skipper Jason Holder (64 not out) supported him from the other end to see off the last session of the match. India are leading the four-match series 1-0. Brief Scores: West Indies 196 and 388/6 in 104 overs.(Roston Chase 137 not out, Jason Holder 64 not out, Shane Dowrich 74, Jermaine Blackwood 63; M Shami 2/82, A Mishra 2/90). India 1st innings: 500/9 decl (KL Rahul 158, A Rahane 108 not out, W Saha 47; R Chase 5/121). The weather stands in the way of India going 2-0 up in the series after rain forced an early end to play on day four with the West Indies in deep trouble at 48/4 in their second innings and 256 runs behind the visitors.

Ajinkya Rahane was on 85 when Roston Chase nailed Amit Mishra and Mohammad Shami off successive deliveries. Strolled in Umesh Yadav. He is not a slouch with the bat, for only last season did Yadav reel off his maiden first class hundred.
