Small plane crashes into house in Malaysia,1 dead

16 people were aboard the Twin Otter aircraft when the incident occurred.

A small passenger plane has crashed into a house after landing short of a runway in Malaysia’s section of Borneo island. One passenger was killed.

National carrier Malaysia Airlines says five other people among the 16 aboard the Twin Otter aircraft were injured in the accident Thursday at the Kudat airport in Malaysia’s eastern Sabah state.

The plane is operated by Malaysia Airlines subsidiary MASwings,which flies to parts of Borneo including Indonesia and Brunei.
