Usha Uthup turns heads with her Kanjeevaram sneakers: ‘Fashion is about comfort’

In the now-viral video, Uthup proudly showcases three pairs of her stunning Kanjeevaram sneakers. “I come from a very middle-class family, and for us, fashion is consistency, constancy, and above all, comfort,” she said.

Uthup revealed that two cobblers created these sneakers for her using her Kanjeevaram sarees. “I just give them my Kanjeevaram saree and my sneakers, and they create magic,” she said, also pointing out that she introduced the project to the President of India, requesting him to help the cobblers of the country.
