“My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

Paramount Skydance merger

Paramount Global, the parent company of CBS News, completed its merger with Skydance Media in August 2025 to create Paramount Skydance, making the new entity one of the largest entertainment conglomerates in the world.

The FCC approved the Paramount Global-Skydance Media merger in July 2025, shortly after Paramount settled a defamation lawsuit with Donald Trump for $16 million over the editing of a 2024 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

In his Truth Social post, Trump said that the new owners are no better than the previous ones.

“Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE! Oh well, far worse things can happen,” he said.

Trump demands apology

The US President also demanded a complete and total apology from host Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her 2020 interview with Trump in which she dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop story, repeatedly telling Trump the information “can’t be verified.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene interview

On Sunday, CBS News aired Stahl’s interview with Greene, the Congresswoman from Georgia, who recently broke ranks with Trump and has emerged as one of the US’s president’s fiercest critics.

In her 60 Minutes interview, Greene, who described herself as ‘America First,’ said Trump had betrayed his ‘America first’ promises.

She also alleged that Republican Congressmen were terrified to step out of line with Trump and get a nasty Truth Social post on them.

Trump goes after Marjorie Taylor Greene

Trump, who has repeatedly called the Georgia representative Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene ever since their fallout, described her as ‘Traitor Brown in his latest post.

“Green turns Brown under stress!,” Trump said.

“She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple! Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person,” Trump said further.
