The viral clip has drawn an outpouring of sympathy for the vendor and sharp criticism of the passengerA deeply upsetting clip of a railway vendor sprinting after a departing train has stirred widespread anger online. The young seller was desperately trying to retrieve money from a passenger who had taken food but refused to pay.
The footage, shot at an unnamed station, shows the boy running alongside the accelerating train, repeatedly calling out and pointing toward a compartment where the passenger was seated. Despite his efforts, no one responded. At one point, the person filming can be heard asking for the vendor’s phone number, offering to transfer the money himself.
The video was posted on Instagram by The Last Hour News By Avni Sharma, sharing additional context. As per their caption, the incident reportedly took place in Bangladesh. The post explains that the passenger gave the vendor a 500 taka note for the goods, but when the boy tried to return the balance, the man simply grabbed the items and ignored him. When the train began to move, the vendor ran beside it, hoping someone would acknowledge him. Eventually, exhausted and defeated, he stopped, saying he would leave the matter “to god for justice.”

Those of you watching including the one who recorded are not better than that wild animal.” Another commented, “These kind of poor vendors Running for families don’t cheat them.” A third person said, “Instood of filming the poor boy, he should have filmed the guy who didn’t pay.”
Someone else summed up the collective frustration: “Imagine working hard all day just to get cheated like this… humanity is fadin.”
