Aman Birendra Jaiswal, a Noida resident, says he placed an order with Ola Foods on July 21 but never got the food. Reason: the delivery agent ate it. Jaiswal somehow managed to shoot a video of the agent eating his fries, which has now caught the internet’s attention. The incident happened at Transport Nagar in Noida sector 69. Talking to indianexpress.com, Jaiswal said, “He was 2-3 minutes away as he shared his location and said ‘I’ll take Rs 10 extra’. I refused first because I was at a location that is A-166, sector 69, but he said ‘nhi location jaha h wahi mai aapke pas ka extra lagega’ (you come to the location or I’ll charge extra)”. Jaiswal said that despite constantly reaching out to Ola Foods, the company responded only after his video grabbed eyeballs online. “The app still shows my order is on the way. And after chasing them for three days, they responded after the video went viral yesterday, saying we’ll refund the amount. In the next 5-7 days,” he said. Asked about the delivery agent, Jaiswal said he had left the place as he felt threatened. “I left there because they were calling some more people, and that area is quite risky in the night. So I came back,” he said. The viral video shows Jaiswal confronting the delivery agent, who was found seated on a parked motorcycle and eating his fries. “Haan toh karte raho jo karna hai (Do what you want),” the delivery agent told Jaiswal. The video also captures another man seated on another motorcycle gorging on a box of fries.
