Most toddlers are fussy eaters and rarely like to try different food. Now a video of a curious toddler trying out Indian food at a New York restaurant is winning over netizens. Instagram content creator Bridget Coolick (thecooleats), who describes herself as a “Foodie Mom”, shared a video of her young kid Sophia sampling Indian food at the Angel Indian Restaurant in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York City. In the two-part video, Sophia tries dishes like daal-chawal, naan with curry, and papad. In the first part of the video, Coolick mentions, “My favorite food was the Lassuni Gobi, but it was too spicy for Sophia. She loved the Dal and Naan.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bridget Coolick | Foodie Mom (@thecooleats) The adorable video has raked up hundreds of likes. An Instagram user wrote, “That’s wonderful you are exposing your child to different cuisines. My parents did the same thing for us and I think you end up with adult children that appreciate a range of foods.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bridget Coolick | Foodie Mom (@thecooleats) Another user wrote, “I am so so elated to see all of you eating at an Indian restaurant. It’s so cool to see our little baby try the dal tadka and rice. 😍 That’s exactly what we feed our kids in every Indian household ever since they turn 6 months. ❤️ lots of love to the little one.”
