Anand Mahindra is impressed with these EVs that can turn into mobile shops
The electric vehicles in the now-viral tweet showed how they can be used as transferable shops.

Electric vehicles are slowly but steadily becoming more common in India. On Saturday, Suman Mishra, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, shared a bunch of photos on Twitter which showed electric vehicles being used as transferable shops.
While sharing these pictures, Mishra, (@sumanmishra_1), posted, “Some of my favorite applications of our electric vehicles – so versatile from Nursery to coffee shop to mobile shops and also a bhel shop! @MahindraLMM”.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is a division of Mahindra & Mahindra that makes a “mix of petrol, CNG, diesel and electric last mile mobility 3- and 4-wheelers – passenger and cargo vehicles”.
Commenting on these photos, a Twitter user wrote, “Just shows how innovative Indians are. No wonder we call it the Great Indian jugaad. It works & it works perfect. Anyone can Inspire. ” Another person wrote, “Great to see many vendors using EV autos.”
Anand Mahindra also retweeted Mishra’s tweet. He posted, “This is just awesome. An environmentally friendly vehicle enabling an environment of entrepreneurship. @sumanmishra_1 can you create a sharing platform where your customers can see how others are leveraging the vehicle? It could spark ideas in them for new applications.”
This is not the first time Mahindra has tweeted about the innovative use of vehicles. In December 2018, he shared a series of photos showing how an old car was recycled and used as an alternative for a roof of a house in Ladakh. According to his tweet, the photos were from Sonam Wangchuk’s Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, “where nothing gets discarded.”
