Bank holiday for the General Election to the Panchayati Raj institutions and Municipality: According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) 2025 holiday calendar, banks will be closed today, Monday, December 15, on account of the General Election to the Panchayati Raj institutions and Municipality held across Arunachal Pradesh.

There are a total of 18 official bank holidays scheduled for December 2025, including mandatory weekly days off on the second Saturday and Sunday of each month. These bank holidays are designated under the Negotiable Instruments Act and include both RTGS holidays and other regional and national holidays.
