As the lavish set was being given finishing touches,our stars were spotted at the venue in their deglamourised avatar in the midst of rehearsals. A-list actors like Shah Rukh Khan,Katrina Kaif,Priyanka Chopra,Vidya Balan,Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma were seen dancing to the tunes of ace choreographer Geeta Kapoor,who ensured that they got their moves right. King Khan lived up to his tag of Ladies Man by charming Katrina and Vidya. While he was spotted chatting nineteen to the dozen with Katrina,he indulged in some witty repartee with Vidya. He also caught up with his former co-star and good friend Madhuri Dixit-Nene. SRK,who is known for his dedication and his involvement in every aspect of his performance,gave valuable inputs to Geeta. Despite rehearsing late at night,Anushka was at her effervescent best. She was seen chatting with her dancers,exchanging notes with Geeta and infusing a lot of energy into her moves. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra,who couldnt get enough of each other while rehearsing at last years Screen awards,kept a low profile this year. Both the actors kept to themselves and were seen rehearsing diligently. In fact,Shahid rehearsed so hard that he ended up having cramps. That night,he tweeted,Practiced hard for the Screen Awards. Got stomach cramps. Dressed in a hooded jacket and track- pants,the chocolate hero rehearsed on top of the truck. At one point,he got so bored by the slow pace of the four-wheeler that he gestured the spot-boys to move the vehicle faster. Priyanka made an appearance at midnight. Dressed in a red pullover jacket and track- pants,the actress made a dramatic entry in her sleek Mercedes. As soon as she stepped out of her car,she rushed to Geeta to learn her moves. Soon,she was seen atop a train engine dancing along with the back-end artistes. While Priyanka focussed on her performance,Shahid,who was doing a spoof on The Dirty Picture along with Chitrangda Singh,engaged in some casual banter with the sultry siren. From rehearsing for hours together to staying awake till the wee hours of the morning,stars clearly gave their best shots to make the award night a grand success.
