Sheila on the outside

Elections over,detractors of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit are regrouping again. Two of her Cabinet ministers and a Union Minister held a meeting last week to work out their future course of action. Given that she did not have any say in the selection of ministerial candidates from Delhi during the government formation exercise at the Centre,her detractors are obviously emboldened. Two of her detractors — Krishna Tirath,who had been removed from the state Cabinet by Dikshit in 2001 purportedly over non-performance,and Ajay Maken — got important portfolios in the Union Council of Ministers.
