Shah resignation too little,too late: Cong

This was a Supreme Court directive and at least Arun Jaitley should have read it. He is a lawyer. He should have raised it and they should have raised it in January,why raise it now? Chidambaram asked.

AICC general secretary in charge of Gujarat B K Hariprasad said that by attacking the CBI,the BJP is attacking the apex court. The CBI investigation is being monitored by the Supreme Court. And Modi is speaking against the Supreme Court.

Shaktisinh Gohil,Leader of the Opposition in the Gujarat Assembly,said,If anything wrong is being done,then why is BJP not approaching SC? BJP is worried because the CBI investigations are going in the right direction. At the time of the murder of BJP leader Haren Pandya,L K Advani had said that CBI was impartial and intelligence agency. If Amit Shah is innocent,then he should have appeared before the CBI.

AICC spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said,The resignation of Amit Shah has come too little,too late. To resign after resisting and delaying the issue for days and weeks is not graceful or voluntary. There is no remorse,no contrition,no acceptance and no apology. The BJP leadership and Narendra Modi are fully supporting and justifying the actions till now.

He added,I am not surprised. It is the true sanskar and also the true chal,charitra and chehra of the BJP.
