Rape-accused NCP MLA gets bail

Nearly a month after his arrest,the Bombay HC on Tuesday granted bail to suspended NCP MLA Dilip Wagh,who is accused of raping a 20-year-old girl.

Wagh and his personal secretary Mahesh Mali are accused of raping the girl at the government guesthouse where she was allegedly called on the pretext of providing her a job in Nashik on February 21. The victim had filed a case against the duo four days after the incident. Both men were arrested on February 26 and booked on charges of rape and criminal intimidation.
