Rain claims 3 more in Himachal,flash floods in Sirmaur

Three people,including two women,lost their lives while property worth several crores was damaged in four Himachal districts

Three people,including two women,lost their lives while property worth several crores was damaged in four Himachal districts of Shimla,Sirmaur,Hamirpur and Mandi due to incessant rain,cloud bursts and flash floods over the past 24 hours here.

Two deaths occurred in Shimla district: police said truck driver Monu was swept away in Rampur tehsil with his vehicle,following a flash flood triggered by a cloud burst Friday night while Asha Devi died in a landslide in Chopal region. Sunita Devi,died in a landslide at Sujanpur tehsil in Hamirpur district.
