Pak troops open fire at Indian posts again

They used small arms,light automatic weapons,medium machine guns and mortar.

Pakistani troops once again targeted forward Indian positions along the Line of Control in Mendhar and Poonch sectors through Monday night in violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement.

Sources said the firing from Pakistani side started at 9.20 pm in Balakote area of Mendhar and spread to Poonch by 10.15 pm. They used small arms,light automatic weapons,medium machine guns and mortar. The Indian Army retaliated,and the exchange of fire continued throughout the night. It halted at 6 am. There was no report of any damage or injury on the Indian side.
