Two days after a Pakistani soldier was detained in Kerni village of Poonch district,the Indian Army on Friday handed him over to its counterpart across the the Line of Control LoC.

Arif Ali 19,who had been deployed with Charlie Company of 25 Frontier Force at Pakistans Saifullah-2 post opposite Kerni village,was apprehended by the Indian Army on Wednesday morning soon after he crossed over to the other side of the LoC from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The soldier was wearing a civil dress and was also found in possession of a civilian identity card and Pakistan currency worth Rs 13,300,besides two SIM cards of cellular operators with network across the border.

The apprehended soldier was handed over to the Pakistan Army through LoC meeting point at Chakkan Da Bagh around 10 am.
