Having worked his charm in Telugu cinema,Sundeep Kishan now plans to make a mark for himself in Bollywood with his debut film Shor In The City.

Launch Vehicle
I play Sawan Murthi,a young lad from Hyderabad, who lives in Mumbai. Sawan aspires to be in the Indian cricket team and is a die-hard fan of Sachin Tendulkar. For Shor In The City,I did not have to undergo any kind of diction training as the directors wanted me to speak Hindi with a South-Indian accent.

Casting Coup
My directors,Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK,saw me at a cricket match and wanted to cast me for Shor In The City. They later met me at the audio launch of a film and called me for auditions to Mumbai. They liked my auditions and immediately cast me in the film.

Stepping Stone
I always wanted to act and started my career in the Telugu film industry with Prasthanam. I have also assisted director Gautham Menon on Varanam and Ayiram, both of which did very well commercially. Im presently the official brand ambassador for 7Up in Tamil Nadu.

First Shot
Its funny but the first time I faced the camera for Shor In The City,it was for a scene in which I make out with my on-screen girlfriend at Mumbais Bandra Reclamation. I was asked to have an argument with her and make-out simultaneously, which was a challenge so I just concentrated on the argument than the making-out session. I was not nervous but a little embarrassed while shooting the scene.

Stumbling Blocks
I am open to challenges but thankfully I havent faced a stumbling block during the shooting of the film. I have had the good fortune of working with directors,Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK,who are very clear about what they want from the actors. Acting has never been a huge challenge for me and I have never been bored with the profession. On the sets all my colleagues were extremely supportive, especially Tusshar Kapoor. He and I bonded like a house on fire. That made work more fun.

Lessons Learnt
Bollywood has a greater reach than Telugu cinema. The new breed of Hindi film directors are open to experimentation,so theres much more on offer for someone like me.

Matinee Idol
I have watched every Bollywood film that has released down south. I am a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. I would love to work with them someday. There are a lot of good directors in Bollywood. I admire Dibakar Banerjee,Sudhir Mishra and Vikramaditya Motwanes body of work and Im keen to team up with them in the future. All of them have experimented with

cinema and have succeeded.

Future Projects
I plan to continue doing films in Bollywood if given a chance. I hope that my work speaks for itself and Im offered good roles after the release of Shor In The City.
