Lull after the storm

A strong and vocal proponent of a separate state of Telangana,Congress MP from Nizamabad Madhu Goud Yaskhi has been missing in action of late. The second-term NRI MP was at the forefront of the statehood campaign by party MPs and MLAs. He went public criticising fellow MPs from non-Telangana region like Jagan Mohan Reddy and L Rajagopal. So much so that the Congress recently issued him a showcause notice for working against the partys interests. Yaskhi seems to have disappeared from the scene since then. Some of his young parliamentary colleagues confide that they had warned him against getting carried away by the public reaction on Telangana. The Nizamabad MP had apparently failed to read the party leaderships mind on Telangana.
