Angelina Jolie,Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker have been spotted wearing Japanese-style kimono sleeve dresses and tops.

Kimono sleeves look best on full-figured women with a thin waist. A kimono sleeve dress adds volume to the top and the only place where it really hugs you is the waist. If you dont have a thin waist,it will make you look shabby and bigger, says designer Nandita Mahtani. Even though the arm is fuller,it is important that the dress fits your armpit and on your shoulder,otherwise it may look messy, says designer Gauri Karan. These sleeves add balance to a bottom-heavy figure when worn with a belt.
