CUET PG 2026 Registration Last Date Extended: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will on January 20 end the registrations for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Post Graduate (PG).  Candidates yet to fill out the application form can do so on the official website — exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg — by 11:50 pm, January 20. Initially, the last date to fill the CUET PG 2026 application form was January 14. Candidates need to fill out and submit the online application form and pay the prescribed examination fee online. PG aspirants need to download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.

As the application will end, the Agency will start the correction window from January 23 onwards. The window will close on January 25 at 11:50 pm. CUET PG 2026 will continue to be conducted for 157 subjects, with each paper carrying a duration of 90 minutes. The structure and format of the examination remain unchanged.

CUET PG 2026: How to fill the form?

Step 1: Visit the official website — exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.

Step 2: Click on the CUET registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your details such as name, email address and phone number

Step 4: Once registered, log in using your application number and password

Step 6: Save, submit and pay the fees

Step 7: Download the CUET PG 2026 application form for future reference

NTA earlier revised the list of exam cities for CUET PG 2026. The total number of centres has been reduced from 312 to 292, with the examination set to be conducted across 272 cities in India and 16 cities overseas. Despite the changes to exam locations, the agency has clarified that there are no revisions to the exam pattern or subject list.

Additionally, the Agency has allowed applicants greater flexibility in choosing their exam centres. As per the notification, applicants will now be able to select up to four examination city preferences while filling out the Common University Entrance Test for postgraduate programmes. These city options must be chosen within the state of the candidate’s permanent or current residence.
