NEW DELHI: Movie moghul D Ramanaidu,a veteran producer with 130 films in a dozen languages in five decades,has been conferred the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award for 2009 for his outstanding contribution to the world of Indian cinema.

SRINAGAR: A 38-year-old shepherd,Manzoor Ahmad Poswal,was reportedly shot dead by troops of the 14 Rashtriya Rifles in the forests of Kodara in Bandipore district early on Thursday morning.
