Varsity exams

PUNE, April 24: The University of Pune will conduct examinations for the MA and MCom degree course from May 13, Controller of Examinations Dr. Santosh Dastane said in a varsity release issued on Friday.

While MSc petroleum and Masters in Communication Studies examinations will commence from April 29, the examination for Master in Social Work will begin from May 13. MBA and MPM examinations will begin from May 6 while LLM examinations will begin from May 2.

Meanwhile the varsity has displayed the second list of candidates who have applied for the BEd vacation course and will conduct interviews on May 4. An University Grants Commission committee, which assessed the functioning of the Statistics department, has allocated funds to the department to set up an advanced study centre, the statement said adding that it would be the first in the country to receive the UGC approval.
