Haryana TET 2026 Postponed: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. The examination is now likely to be conducted in the last week of January. The update comes after changes were reflected in the “important dates” section on the official HTET website. Earlier, HTET 2026 was tentatively scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18.

According to Haryana Board Chairman Dr Pawan Kumar, the decision to defer the examination was taken as the schedule was still being finalised, with the previously announced dates being tentative. “HTET 2026 examinations are likely to be conducted in the last week of January, and the admit cards will be made available after January 20,” Haryana Board chairman told Indianexpress.com.

HTET is a mandatory eligibility examination for candidates aspiring to teach at primary, trained graduate teacher (TGT), and postgraduate teacher (PGT) levels in government schools across Haryana. The exam is conducted in three levels and plays a crucial role in teacher recruitment in the state.

The board is expected to issue a detailed notification regarding the revised exam dates and admit card download link soon.
