ROHTAK, Jan 4: Two persons, including a tempo driver were killed, and four others injured in a collision between a passenger train and a three-wheeler tempo at an unmanned railway crossing on the Rohtak-Bhiwani section of the Northern railway, near Kalanaur about 20 km from here, this morning.

The injured have been admitted to the local Pt B.D. Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences PGIMS here. According to police, mishap occured at about 8 am when the 2RKB passenger train coming towards Rohtak from Bhiwani, hit the tempo which was crossing the railway line at the un-manned crossing while going to Mokhra village from Kalanaur.

The deceased included the driver of the ill-fated tempo, identified as Sanjay, and a minor boy Manjit who hailed from Mokhra village of Rohtak district. The two died at the hospital shortly after they were admitted along with the other injured which included Mohan Lal, Arvind and two other unidentified persons 8212; a middle aged man and a minor boy.
