Tree plantation function held

CHANDIGARH, Feb 14: A tree plantation function, organised with the help of the Environment Society of India, was held at the Bapu Dham Government Middle School, Sector 26, here yesterday. About 50 saplings were planted in the school and school principal Sobha Kapur called upon the students to keep their surroundings clean. S. K. Sharma of the Environment Society told the students about the benefits of the plants and later the students presented a cultural programme.
