Third win for TNEB

Baroda, April 22: TNEB defeated Hyderabad spikers 15-12, 15-6, 15-12 to register their third victory in four round robin league matches of the first leg of the Federation Cup Volleyball Championship at GSFC here today.

After winning the first two sets easily, TNEB trailed first 0-5 and then 1-11 in the thrid set, but fought back to win it 15-12.

In the women8217;s tie, Andhra Pradesh subdued Southern Club 15-3, 15-8, 15-2.

As of now, TNEB and ITI share the first position in the points table with seven points each, followed by Punjab Police with six, though they have got it in three matches while the former two have played four matches each.
