The inner unison

The scroll of wisdom unrolls itself when intelligence and reason unite. In fact, intelligence and reason are one and the same. It appears to be dual in nature 8212; as you and me. Happiness and sorrow are only known to intelligence; reasoning has neither happiness nor sorrow. Intelligence and reason work in their own separate ways. While reason pacifies the enemy with its anger. Creation happens when the earth and sky come together. The earth protects, and the sky sustains. These two should remain united in spite of all the apparent duality. This is also the case with intelligence and reasoning.

These are seen in their dual nature, because they are separated from the original single state of wisdom. The attributes of the single state of awareness are present in the dual state also. Everything goes topsy-turvy with the advent of ego. The mind has slipped into the trap of creation. An entrapment from which there is no redemption. It continues its creation from there.

When intelligence operates on its own without consulting reason, it leads to wrongdoings. Since reason is self-illuminating, it does not need illumination from any other source. However, intelligence, which is not self-illuminating, has only the status of a shadow cast by light. The intelligence should stay united with the self-illuminating reason. That union is described as liberation, bliss. This union enables you to be aware that the Self is everything and makes you treat every being as equal.

When the attributeless mind is endowed with the creative vibration, it remains in a body in its dual form of intelligence and reason. The Gita is the advice rendered by Krishna, the reason, to Arjuna, the intelligence. Krishna and Arjuna are forms created by the mind. These two attributes are described as Krishna and Arjuna in order to make the common man understand the idea in a better way. When intelligence is alone, it turns out to be arrogance. Arrogance leads to sorrow. When intelligence remains in union without reason, it is Gita. That is the end of ego. What is very clear is the fact that intelligence and reason are born together. Awareness and non-awareness have their origin in awareness. And the mind is present in both.
