OSMANABAD, February 15: The Sena supremo Bal Thackeray appeared visibly upset on Saturday when he called Congressman impotents who had fallen at the feet of a woman to capture power.

He asked people not to let the feet of a white-skinned race touch the site of power in the country.

Addressing a mammoth rally in the holy pilgrimage town here, Thackeray exuded confidence saying, 8220;February 22 the day of polling is ours Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party 8211; SS-BJP alone. We are going to Delhi and no one should have any doubt about that.8221; Thackeray declared that the Sena will assume for itself the responsibility of a watch-dog at the centre in the event of the BJP-allied parties coming to power.

8220;We naturally will be the biggest of all BJP-alliance parties and cannot shrug the accountability that such position brings with it. 8220;I will not let the BJP abuse power,8221; Thackeray assured the crowd. Thackeray said he was not at all interested in passing any personal comments on Sonia Gandhi.

8220;But I have tofor your sake, for the good of this country,8221; he said, adding a warning that once she assumes prime ministership, she might go on to loan the country to Italy.
