8220;My son said his roommate started sodomising him in July, three months after he joined school. In August, my son complained to the wing incharge of the hostel, M R Shastri. My son was shifted to another room but no action was taken against the accused,8221; she added.

The victim said the accused attempted sodomy several times even after the room was changed. 8220;He threatened that he would reveal the acts to other students of the hostel,8221; he added. Finally, the victim discussed the matter with a close friend, who called up the boy8217;s parents in Delhi.

Principal Vibha Ray said she was unaware of the victim lodging a complaint with M R Shastri. 8220;If I had known, I would have ensured action against the accused,8221; she added.
