Strutting his stuff

We have it from reliable sources that Manisha Koirala has packed a splendid performance in her forthcoming film, Raja Ko Rani Se Pyaar Ho Gaya, in which she co-stars with her Bombay colleague Arvind Swamy. It is, apparently, a story with three main characters: Manisha, Arvind, and an elephant! Sounds interesting? Sure does, but will someone please tell us how much do a pair of actors have to do in a film featuring a cute and huge elephant?

Contrary to rumours, Hrithik Roshan isn’t the only person who’s benefitted from the mammoth success of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. His pretty co-star Amisha Patel has got her hands equally full with good offers. First up she will feature opposite Sunny Deol (a little too old to be cast opposite her, don’t you think?) in a film for Zee TV. Then she will be seen romancing Aftab Shivdasani in Suno Sasurji and there’s a film with Hrithik again called Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage Hain. Finally, there’s talk of a film which Tahir Hussain will produce to re-launch (yes, for the third time!) his Faisal Khan for which Amisha has been approached. So please stop going on an on about her having got a raw deal…
