TT coach honoured

Amitav Choudhary was conferred the Guru Sandipani Award for the best Table Tennis coach during a glittering function at CMP Homeopathic Hospital, Vile Parle on Sunday. The Maharashtra Suburban District Table Tennis Association also felicitated players Mallika Parekh and Rujuta Rege for their fine performances in 1998-99 at District, State and National levels.

The last date for submitting forms for the first Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament to be held at Anushakti Nagar has been extended by a day. The event to be held from July 15 to 18 at New Community Centre, Anushakti Nagar is being jointly conducted by DAE Sports amp; Cultural Council and BARC Staff Club under the auspices of MSDTTA.
