In Gujarat outreach bid, Arvind Kejriwal on 3-day visit to strengthen AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will reach Ahmedabad airport on Saturday evening for his three-day visit to Gujarat, where he is expected to attend workers’ conventions in Ahmedabad and Vadodara, a party spokesperson said.

“So far, the Aam Aadmi Party has organised more than 18,000 meetings across Gujarat. Through these meetings, the work of connecting the people of Gujarat with the party and raising key public issues has been carried out successfully. To further strengthen the organisation in the coming times, the Aam Aadmi Party has planned booth workers’ conventions under seven zones,” Dr Karan Barot of AAP said in a statement.

On Sunday, a workers’ convention under the central zone will be held in Ahmedabad, covering the Ahmedabad, Kheda, Gandhinagar and Surendranagar Lok Sabha constituencies. On Monday, a convention under the eastern zone will be organised in Vadodara, covering the districts of Anand, Vadodara, Dahod, the Panchmahals, and Chhota Udepur.

“At these conventions, Kejriwal will provide guidance to the workers. These conventions will be attended by AAP’s Gujarat in-charge Gopal Rai, co-in-charge Durgesh Pathak, state president Isudan Gadhvi, state organisation general secretary Manoj Sorathiya, MLAs Gopal Italia, Hemant Khava, and Chaitar Vasava, along with taluka, district, municipal and booth-level workers,” the statement added.
