The boardroom8217;s cut-throat competition comes to the golf course with the Seagram8217;s Blenders Pride Corporate Golf Championship. Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Chembur will be the venue to India8217;s first ever National Corporate team golf event to be played on Feb 20 and 21.

Some of the participating teams include Sahara Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, Essar Group, Hong Kong Bank, Air-India, Citibank and Bank of America among the 50 expected to tee-off on Saturday.

Scoring in the open category will be off zero handicap on stableford points. The cumulative gross scores of both players will count towards the final team scores with the lowest scorers being declared the winners.

For the handicappers8211; maximum 20 for men and 24 for women8211; the Double Peoria adjustment method will be applied. The player8217;s full handicap will be added to the stableford points off the gross score. The cumulative stableford scores of both players will count towards the final team scoreand the winning team will be the one with the highest scores.

Apart from team championships there will be prizes for best individual gross score, highest individual stable points, longest drive and one for closest to the pin. The event is being conducted by International Management Group.
