Sena rebels join Gawli8217;s party

AKOLA, June 10: Many disgruntled elements in the district Shiv Sena unit recently joined the Akhil Bharatiya Sena ABS, a political party floated by the notorious gangster-turned-social worker Arun Gawli.

The switching over of loyalties by the Sena activists has created ripples in the district political circles.

Suresh Sonargan, former Senamen who had been fighting a lone battle against Shiv Sena heavyweight in the district and Minister of State for Sports Gulabrao Gawande, has been appointed as the district ABS unit president. Raju Pohre has been appointed as the contact chief.
