Seminar on conversions

CHANDIGARH, Feb 21: A seminar on quot;Religious conversions and Social Harmonyquot; was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad at the Sector 22 Health Centre, this evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Padamshri Sardar Anjum said the killing of innocent people and forcible conversions both should be condemned by all organisations. He added that international harmony was the need of the hour at the moment.

K.S. Arya, former principal of DAV College here, said he had visited several states recently and had gathered statistics regarding the number of conversions. Among others who spoke included former Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge Justice D.V. Sehgal, local journalist Kamleshwar Sinha, and Parishad patron K.L. Kalsi.
