MUMBAI, JANUARY 7: Sanjay Leela Bhansali8217;s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam leads the nomination list of the sixth annual Screen-Videocon Awards for excellence in cinema, music and television. Bhansali8217;s film, incidentally, has received 19 nominations in all, and has also been nominated in all film categories, which is apparently, a first time event.

Among those films which have also snagged several nominations, are John Matthew Matthan8217;s Sarfarosh, Subhash Ghai8217;s Taal, David Dhawan8217;s Biwi No 1 and Satish Kaushik8217;s Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, all of whom have received Best Director nods, and Best Film nominations for their latest effort.

The awards, which will be handed out to deserving film personalities whose movies were released between January 1, 1999 and December 31, 1999, will be presented at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on January 23. The twelve-member jury for the awards, is headed by celebrated actor-filmmaker Manoj Kumar, while other luminaries who figure on the jury include Jaya Bachchan, Ravi Chopra and Amrik Gill.

For those who are unable to land invites for the event, there will be a telecast of the awards from 10.30 pm on DD National Network the same day, and a re-telecast on Star Plus on January 29 from 9.30 pm onwards.
