Rs 123,780 crore mopped up

Total fund mobilisation by Indian corporates through all the avenues 8212; including public issues, QIPs, FCCB issues and depository receipt DR issues 8212; has hit Rs 1,23,780 crore 31.3 billion in 2007. This is a record for the Indian corporate sector. While Rs 45,137 crore was raised through public issues and Rs 21,700 crore through QIPs, as much as 7.51 billion came through FCCBs and 6.84 billion through DR issues, as per figures compiled by Prime Database and Bloomberg. This money will be used for expansion and growth by companies in 2008-09.
