
FA Cup holders Manchester United face a tricky tie at Everton following the draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup made on Monday.
United sealed their place in the last 16 with a 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday highlighted by two outstanding goals from Wayne Rooney who will return to Goodison Park for the first time since leaving Everton for United for 30.0 million pounds 56.46 million in August.
Their last two FA Cup meetings were in the finals of 1985 which Manchester United won 1-0 and 1995 which Everton won 1-0.
Premier League leaders Chelsea, already through to the League Cup final, visit Newcastle United, while Arsenal will meet either West Ham or Sheffield United.
Tottenham Hotspur will meet Nottingham Forest in a repeat of the 1991 Cup final if they overcome West Bromwich Albion in their replayed fourth round tie. New Forest boss Gary Megson will face his old club if West Brom win the replay at White Hart Lane on February 12. Southampton were handed an easy looking home tie against Brentford or Hartlepool United.
