Robbers strike at trader146;s house

This incident was reported from the house of Anil Gupta, who runs a hosiery business. According to police sources, this morning after Gupta left his home, his wife Meenakshi Gupta and their maid Suman were at home when four unidentified persons came to their house and inquired about Gupta.

Sources said that they told Gupta8217;s wife that they had had a talk with Gupta and they wanted to purchase his car. At this, Meenakshi told them to talk to her husband. But instead of doing so, they took out a pistol and pointed it at both the women and took the keys of an almirah from Meenakshi Gupta. They took out Rs 1 lakh from the almirah and fled, sources said.

Later, the matter was reported to the police. The Basti Jodhewal police have registered a case against four unidentified persons and have started investigating the matter.
