RCF net up 31.87

Rashtriya Chemicals 038; Fertilizers Ltd today posted a 31.87 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 79.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31 as compared to Rs 60.45 crore for the same quarter in 2004-05. Total income net of excise increased to Rs 860.05 crore for the fourth quarter in the year 2005-06 from Rs 703.57 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2004-05, up 22.24 per cent. The board has recommended the payment of final dividend of Re 1 per share of Rs 10 each. For the year ended March 31 the company registered a net profit of Rs 147.96 crore as against Rs 140.96 crore for the year 2004-05.
