
CHANDIGARH, June 12: Former Haryana Ranji player Ravinder Chadha, doctor of the Indian cricket team, was unanimously elected president of the Chandigarh Cricket Association, affiliated to the Haryana Cricket Association. Surinder Singh, Rajesh Kalia and Sanjeev Thapar were also unanimously elected secretary, joint secretary and treasurer respectively. Sanjeev Mehan was elected the vice-president of the association.
According to Surinder Singh, the association would organise coaching camps for under-16 and under-19 besides conducting the Samuel Banerjee.
The association also condoled the death of founder secretary of the HCA and president of the CCA, M M Lal Jain .
